Tekken 8 is the highly anticipated upcoming installment of the legendary 3D fighting game by Bandai Namco. Since its announcement, fans have been eager for more and more details.

Of course, the 3D aspect and intense gameplay are reasons why Tekken is such a popular and well-respected fighting title, however, the characters also play a huge role in pulling players in and creating dedicated fans.

Characters are individual and unique, all with their own playstyles and personalities, but which fighters will be in Tekken 8?

Every confirmed Tekken 8 character

There are a total of 17 confirmed characters for Tekken 8 so far, here’s the full list:

Most of these characters were revealed in gameplay trailers, while Claudio was teased at the end of the Closed Network Test trailer. Players will be able to use 16 of these characters in the Closed Network Test.

These Tekken 8 characters are all returning fighters, as the devs are yet to reveal any brand-new characters. We expect Tekken 8 to feature a few new faces, but for now, these are all of the characters that have been confirmed.

All Tekken 8 leaked characters

As for leaks, there haven’t been many regarding Tekken 8 characters, but some reports are suggesting that Yoshimitsu and Alex could return, as they were spotted in “behind-the-scenes footage shown in a news report on the game’s development on Japanese station NHK.”

Yoshiumitsu is a legendary character who has been in every Tekken game since the franchise was birthed in 1994, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him in Tekken 8. Alex is a genetically modified fighting dinosaur who has appeared in Tekken 2, Tekken Tag Tournament 1 and 2, as well as Tekken Mobile.
