In Warzone 2 Season 4, LMGs play an important role in mastering long-range firefights. That’s why we made our ranked list of every LMG in Warzone 2 Season 4 from best to worst.
LMGs have emerged as a formidable and popular weapon category in the latest seasons. With their high-capacity magazines and sustained fire rate, these heavy-duty firearms offer immense power and dominance in the game, making them a preferred choice for many players in Warzone 2.
If you’re considering using an LMG in Warzone 2 Season 4 and need help deciding which one is the best option to choose, here’s our ranked list of the LMGs in the game, from the top performers to the least effective options.
Best Warzone 2 LMGs ranked list
Warzone 2 has six LMGs in Season 4, so if you’re struggling to decide which one to use, here’s all of them ranked from best to worst:
Best Warzone 2 LMGs
6. RAPP H

The RAPP H’s fire rate can be used to quickly eliminate Warzone 2 enemies.
The RAPP H stands out as one of the fastest rate LMG in Warzone 2 Season 4. This LMG is similar to the 556 Icarus in terms of versatility, the RAPP H surpasses it in range, providing an advantage in long-range combat on Ashika Island and Vondel. However, it lacks damage and accuracy at those distances, and that is why it is located in the last position.
5. 556 Icarus

The 556 Icarus boasts impressive mobility in Warzone 2.
The 556 Icarus is a versatile LMG and it’s a good option for those who would prefer a more Assault Rifle-like LMG in Warzone 2. The main feature of the 556 Icarus is the incredible mobility it provides as well as great fire rate and recoil control. However, like the RAPP H, long-range damage heavily penalizes its position on the ranked list.
4. Sakin MG38

The Sakin MG38 is extremely easy to handle in Warzone 2.
The number four spot goes to the Sakin MG38, which is still a good long-range option in Warzone 2, with great damage, range, and easy-to-control recoil. Despite this, the Sakin doesn’t have the best range damage or mobility in the LMGs category.
3. RAAL MG

The RAAL MG has an impressive TTK in Warzone 2.
The RAAL MG was one of the best LMGs in Warzone 2 last season, but that is now a thing of the past. While the RAAL didn’t get major nerfs, the buffs on weapons like the RPK and HCR just put the RAAL in a lower placement this season.
However, with the correct attachments, you can smooth out the RAAL MG’s recoil, allowing you to easily stay on target. Given its impressive TTK and damage range, the RAAL MG is our top three LMG option.
2. RPK

The RPK remained one of the most popular Warzone 2 weapons since its arrival.
Whether you’d like a heavy LMG or more of an Assault Rifle build, the RPK can do either, catering to whichever style the player prefers. In this new season, the RPK received an important buff in terms of damage and mobility, which places it as a second great option among LMGs.
1. HCR 56

The HCR 56 LMG is a fully automatic weapon in Warzone 2.
On the top of the list is the HCR 56. This weapon has the most important qualities for Warzone 2: great damage, recoil control, and mobility. In Season 4, the HCR 56 equipped with the correct loadout is the most effective LMG in the game.
So far comes our ranked list of the best LMGs for this Season 4 of Warzone 2. Now all that remains is for you to mod it to your liking and land on different Warzone 2 maps.
