Everything coming to Pokemon Go in August content update

Niantic also revealed all the events players will be able to celebrate in August in Pokemon Go. The Glittering Garden event will run from August 5 to August 8, right in between the Pokemon Go Fest in-person events that take place in London and Osaka.

There will also be an event to celebrate the 2023 Pokemon World Championships from August 11 to August 15. The August Community Day will take place during this event, on Sunday, August 13. Lastly, an event titled Noxious Swamp will run in Pokemon Go from August 19 to August 22. We’ll provide all the details on these events once they’re announced.

In other news, Vulpix, Paras, Stufful, Venonat, and Tentacool will get their own Spotlight Hour during August, giving players the chance to catch as many as they can of these species.

Last but not least, Pokemon Go will get new special bonuses during August 2023. To celebrate the biggest Pokemon Go event of the year, players will get increased rewards for seven-day Pokemon catch and PokeStop spin streaks.
