Apex Legends Season 18 is the next major seasonal update for the game, and leaks may have revealed that the new Legend will be Revenant Reborn, a rework for the synthetic nightmare which brings new abilities.

Apex Legends players tend to get a new Legend each season, with the most recent being Ballistic for Season 17. Despite Ballistic still being relatively new, the community is constantly looking forward to the next addition, and more often than not, dataminers can provide leaked details about new content.

A rework for the Season 4 Legend Revenant has been speculated for months now, but it seems leaks have revealed even more details and dataminers are confident that Revenant Reborn will be arriving in Apex Legends soon.

Revenant Reborn is the leaked rework for the Legend Revenant that is rumored to arrive in Apex Legends Season 18, which is set to begin on August 8, 2023.

According to reliable leaker Thordan Smash, Revenant Reborn will be presented as the new Legend for Season 18 of the battle royale, as Revenant is getting a complete rework to their kit with all new abilities.

Revenant Reborn will also reportedly come with a new launch bundle to emphasize the rework being like a new character in the game. Unfortunately for those who like Revenant, his abilities are undergoing a complete change, so the Death Totem, wall climbing, and Silence abilities will be removed from Apex.

At the end of the Apex Legends Neon Network Collection Event trailer, the devs teased the rework as Revenant popped up on a glitched screen saying, “there’s still time to run.”

Further, the Collection Event brought a unique narrative-driven experience for Loba called Kill Code: A Thief’s Bane, where she uncovers more about Revenant. The end reveals that a new model for Revenant has been taken from a Hammond Lab, perhaps hinting at the leaked Revenant Reborn character in Season 18.

Players have also noticed that weird glitchy code comes up on the screen every so often when playing Revenant, again hinting and teasing his rework for Season 18.

Leaked Apex Legends Revenant Reborn abilities

Here’s a full breakdown of the leaked abilities for Revenant Reborn:

Passive: Shadow Form
- Within the range of 30 meters, Revantnt can see enemies whose health is lower than 40. If Revenant hits the enemy below 40 health, the vision will be shared for the whole team.
Tactical: Shadow Dash
- Revenant can perform a 20 meter dash and another dash if you press the jump button again.
Ultimate
- Set down the totem, knock or kill enemies within the totem’s range (50 meters) and you will restore health and armor (25 health / 25 armor).

There are also leaks with a shadow-form version of Revenant with different abilities, so it’s unclear if these have been scrapped or if they will tie into the character in some way.
