Scrim Network Participation Terms

These Scrim Network Participation Terms (the “Scrim Terms”) apply when you use the Team Iron Wulf Scrim Network, Scrim Hub, Scrim Engine, related Discord channels, or related scheduling and competitive-record features (together, the “Scrim Network”). These Scrim Terms supplement the Team Iron Wulf website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If these Scrim Terms conflict with the general Terms & Conditions about participation in the Scrim Network, these Scrim Terms control for that participation.

1. Eligibility and permission

You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required to use Discord and the relevant game or platform in your country. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Scrim Terms on your behalf before you participate.

The Scrim Network is not directed to children under 13. Do not register, submit a profile, or provide personal information if you are under 13. Team Iron Wulf may remove or restrict an account when age or permission requirements are not met.

2. Your account and Discord connection

Discord is the primary sign-in and operational communication service for the Scrim Network. You are responsible for your Discord account, website account, gamer tag, linked platform accounts, and all activity performed through them. Do not impersonate another person, share access, evade a suspension, or provide materially false identity, skill, roster, or availability information.

You must promptly update information that becomes inaccurate. Tell Team Iron Wulf staff through the official Discord support or reporting channel if you believe your account or linked identity has been compromised.

3. Participation status is not team membership

A website Player account means that you may use player features of the Scrim Network. It does not make you:

  • a Team Iron Wulf roster member;
  • an employee, contractor, agent, representative, or spokesperson of Team Iron Wulf;
  • a sponsored or professional player;
  • a Curated Competitor; or
  • a member of any claimed team.

Open Scrim Network access is the standard participation level. Competitive Network access is curated and may be granted, changed, or removed by Team Iron Wulf staff. Official Team Iron Wulf roster membership requires a separate written Player Agreement. A team association is optional and is displayed as verified only after Team Iron Wulf staff confirms it.

4. Conduct and fair play

You must follow these Scrim Terms, the Team Iron Wulf Captain’s Rules, Discord’s Terms and Community Guidelines, the rules of the applicable game and platform, and reasonable staff directions. You may not:

  • harass, threaten, discriminate against, stalk, dox, or abuse another person;
  • cheat, exploit, tamper with matches, use unauthorized software, or knowingly play with an ineligible participant;
  • falsify identity, roster status, eligibility, scores, match evidence, or availability;
  • manipulate matchmaking, rankings, records, or confirmations;
  • disclose private lobby codes, passwords, invite details, private communications, or restricted tactical materials without authorization;
  • advertise, solicit, spam, or recruit in prohibited channels;
  • upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited content; or
  • disrupt the Scrim Network, its services, matches, staff, or participants.

Competitive integrity matters more than a favorable result. Report suspected cheating, score manipulation, or material rule violations privately to staff rather than escalating them publicly.

5. Scheduling, confirmations, and attendance

Availability submitted to the Scrim Engine is a request to find compatible players or opponents; it is not a confirmed match. A scrim becomes confirmed only when the required participants or captains accept it through the designated workflow.

Provide availability in the correct time zone and keep it current. If you accept a scrim, arrive on time and prepared. Notify the designated Discord channel as soon as possible if you must cancel or will be late. Repeated late cancellations, no-shows, false availability, or failure to confirm may reduce matchmaking priority or lead to restricted access.

Captains and Team Iron Wulf staff may create a set scrim without participant availability when the teams, opponents, and time have already been arranged. The same confirmation, conduct, score, and record rules apply.

6. Lobbies, invites, and game-server details

The host or designated captain supplies the game lobby, party, server, or invite information using the approved private Discord location. Treat those details as confidential until the match is complete. Do not publish or forward them to people who are not participating or authorized to observe.

Each participant is responsible for compatible hardware, software, network access, game ownership, platform access, updates, and any third-party account required to play. Team Iron Wulf does not control game servers or guarantee their availability or performance.

7. Scores, evidence, disputes, and official records

Captains or designated participants must submit complete and accurate final scores through the approved workflow. When requested, preserve screenshots, clips, match reports, or other evidence until the result is finalized.

If both sides submit the same result, the Scrim Engine may publish it automatically. Conflicting results, rule disputes, suspected cheating, or incomplete matches may be held for staff review. Team Iron Wulf may correct or annotate a record based on available evidence. Staff’s administrative decision controls the Scrim Network record, but it does not change a game publisher’s, league’s, or tournament operator’s separate decision.

Scrims are practice activities unless a separate written announcement expressly states otherwise. They are not official league, tournament, wager, prize, or paid-entry matches.

8. Profiles, teams, and public competitive history

You authorize Team Iron Wulf to display the public profile information you submit, which may include your gamer tag, profile image, game, platform, region, playing roles, biography, experience, recruiting status, approved links, verified team association, scheduled events, results, and competitive statistics.

Do not submit sensitive personal information in public profile fields. Availability windows, time-zone settings, private lobby details, moderation notes, and acceptance audit data are operational information and are not intended to appear on your public profile.

Historical scrim events and results may remain in the public competitive record after you leave, change teams, or lose access because deleting them would make other participants’ records inaccurate. Team Iron Wulf may anonymize or correct a record when reasonably necessary.

9. Content you provide

You retain ownership of original content you submit. You give Team Iron Wulf a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, document, moderate, and promote the Scrim Network and its competitive history.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for anything you submit. Team Iron Wulf may remove content that violates these Scrim Terms, another person’s rights, platform rules, or applicable law.

10. Moderation, suspension, and removal

Team Iron Wulf may warn, restrict, suspend, reclassify, or remove a participant; invalidate a match; correct a score; or limit access to a pool or channel when reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, rule enforcement, or system operation.

At launch, removal of a Discord player role or a Discord ban may require a staff member to update the related website account manually. Losing Discord access does not guarantee immediate automatic website deactivation. A participant must not use remaining access to evade or defeat a Discord moderation action. Historical public results may remain even when current access is suspended.

You may request review through the official Discord support or reporting process. Review is not guaranteed to reverse the decision.

11. Privacy and service providers

The Privacy Policy explains how Team Iron Wulf handles Discord identifiers, account data, profile information, images, availability and time-zone data, team requests, confirmations, results, moderation records, and technical records. Discord, the game publisher, console or PC platforms, hosting providers, and other connected services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Team Iron Wulf is not responsible for a third party’s service, outage, security, moderation, or data practices. References to third-party names, games, or trademarks identify compatibility only and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

12. No guarantee and limitation

The Scrim Network is provided on an “as available” basis. Team Iron Wulf does not guarantee a match, opponent, roster position, ranking, competitive outcome, uninterrupted service, error-free data, or selection for Team Iron Wulf or another team.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Team Iron Wulf is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from Scrim Network participation, third-party services, lost opportunities, lost data, game-server failures, participant conduct, or unauthorized disclosure by another participant. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

13. Changes to the Scrim Network or these terms

Team Iron Wulf may change, pause, or discontinue any Scrim Network feature or participation level. Material changes to these Scrim Terms will receive a new version and may require you to accept the revised version before submitting another profile or availability request. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.

14. Ending participation

You may stop participating at any time. You may ask staff to close or restrict your current account and profile, subject to legitimate recordkeeping, security, dispute, and competitive-history needs. Sections concerning public records, licenses already needed for those records, moderation, disclaimers, and limitations continue to apply after participation ends.

15. Contact and reporting

Use the official Team Iron Wulf Discord support or reporting channel for account, match, conduct, score, safety, or privacy questions. You may also use the contact page on the Team Iron Wulf website.

By checking the acceptance box and submitting a Scrim Network profile or availability request, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Scrim Terms and the linked website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
